Laboratoires Expanscience was founded in 1950 with the meeting two men. They combined their expertise in pharmaceuticals and manufacturing and went on to create numerous innovative dermo-cosmetics products and pharmaceutical specialities. But they also developed an ethos which continues to guide our company to this day. A company which is close to its employees while managing to operate at international level; a company which sets ambitious targets both for itself and for those who work within it; a company in which the desire to learn is what motivates its teams every day.

At Expanscience, we believe that a proper induction is essential for helping employees succeed and perform well. Our induction programme involves meetings with all the new recruit's main colleagues and a day spent finding out about the company (a presentation of its activities, a visit to the production site and the IR&D centre). And there are regular meetings with the manager who can answer any questions.

Our development policy is in keeping with our ambitions: it sets out to support the company's performance by developing each employee's talents and expertise. It helps expand the company's knowledge and ensure that its various processes are fine-tuned in the long-term. As part of the performance cycle, each employee gets an annual Professional Development Interview. In addition to targeted training programmes, skills development can involve employees and managers undertaking various initiatives on a day-to-day basis.

Career development and internal mobility are not only for a few successful individuals. They can be enjoyed by all of our employees. The sheer range of the work we do in pharmaceuticals and dermo-cosmetics, our ongoing quest for innovation and our presence at international level are all opportunities for our employees to develop their careers. We are proud to be a company on the move that helps its women and men to develop.
