And just what does accessibility mean?
In general, accessibility is the result of ensuring that a place, a service or a product can be used by the greatest number, in particular by the disabled.
In the web domain, this means allowing all users, even those who are temporarily or permanently disabled and those whose technical equipment may not be the latest, to have access to content.
Because we feel it’s important for all our audiences to have access to our information, we decided to optimize accessibility to our website by including FACIL’iti, a digital accessibility solution developed by a French company.

With FACIL’iti, our site display adapts to the browsing needs of those with visual, motor or cognitive impairments (low vision, osteoarthritis, dyslexia, Parkinsonism, etc.).
It’s very easy to use FACIL’iti on our site. Here’s how:
- Click on the “Launch FACIL'iti” button below or on the FACIL’iti link in the footer to launch the FACIL’iti tool.
- FACIL'iti opens in a pop-up. Remember to disable your pop-up blocker to benefit from it.
- Choose the filter that best suits your needs from the 22 filters offered or create your own custom filter.
- Your filter will be automatically applied to the Expanscience site (Corporate English version).
