Our environmental practices

Our challenges
For the future, it is necessary for Expanscience to determine how best to achieve effiency and solid business performance. We must also limit greenhouse gases, reduce water and energy consumption and minimize waste production. For Expanscience, success on these issues guarantees its acceptance in the areas where where it does business.
Expanscience's responsibility also involves controlling the impact of producing its products all the way through their life cycle, from procurement of raw materials to production and delivery. This requires strong commitments to reduce greenhouse gases and water and energy consumption while depending as little as possible on non-renewable energy.
Effluents
Expanscience must ensure the quality of effluents at the Epernon site, particularly wastewater, in order to protect the environment and preserve Expanscience's legitimacy where it produces and its acceptance by locals and public authorities.
Transportation
It is critical to limit the impact of transportation, whether it involves product and raw material logistics or employee travel.
Materials
Reducing the longevity of products and packaging is an important environmental issue, involving the application of three major principles : the elimination, reduction and recyclability of materials used.
