Our environmental practices Our environmental practices

An ambitious environmental policy

Expanscience considers its environmental impact throughout its products' life cycle. It has undertaken actions to reduce its impact on the environment, specifically in terms of water and electricity consumption.

Our challenges

For the future, it is necessary for Expanscience to determine how best to achieve effiency and solid business performance. We must also limit greenhouse gases, reduce water and energy consumption and minimize waste production.

Our actions

Further to the carbon budget (Bilan Carbone®) created in 2009, Laboratoires Expanscience has set up cross-disciplinary projects to reduce greenhouse gases. In addition, a new production unit deploying a high environmental quality (HEQ) framework has been built in Epernon.

Ever since its creation in 1950, Laboratoires Expanscience has launched innovative products on the health and well-being markets. It deploys a wide range of skills: Dermo-Cosmetics, Rheumatology, Dermatology, Dental and Cosmetic Active Ingredients. In addition to flagship brands such as Mustela Bébé, the leading babycare range sold in pharmacies, or Piasclédine 300 (treatment for arthritis), the teams based in Epernon and Courbevoie are constantly producing innovations, notably in the fields of chemistry of lipids and development of connective tissue.
