Arthritis Prizes

As a special partner in the French rheumatology field, Expanscience has supported clinical and basic research into arthritis since 1998 by offering two Prix Arthrose Expanscience prizes totalling €7,640: one for clinical and one for basic research. These prizes are awarded every year to two French-speaking researchers for the scientific interest and innovative nature of their work. All the projects awarded the Prix Arthrose Expanscience have been accepted for publication in well-respected international journals.

The Laboratoires Expanscience Prix ParoActiv’ Prize

Laboratoires Expanscience introduced the Prix ParoActiv’ prize in 2010 to promote and support clinical and research work in periodontology-implantology.
In 2011, the prize was awarded to two winners at the National Congress of the French Society of Oral Implantology and Periodontology (SFPIO) in Aix en Provence.
Each winner received €1,500.

 

Expanscience Dermatology Prize

The Prix Expanscience en Dermatologie prize was first presented in 2002 for dermatology research. It is awarded every year to a winner selected in partnership with the French Society of Dermatology (SFD). It is presented at the Journées Dermatologiques de Paris (Paris Dermatology Days), in which Laboratoires Expanscience participates.

2010 prize (€4,500)

Awarded to Christine Chiaverini, a dermatologist working for Prof. J. P. Lacour at L’Archet University Hospital in Nice for her project: “Traitement des épidermolyses bulleuses simples de type Dowling Maera par l’érythromycine orale” (Treatment of Dowling Maera-type epidermolysis bullosa with oral erythromycin)
