Mustela Foundation
Created under the aegis of the Fondation de France, guaranteeing probity and transparency, the Mustela Foundation is committed to aiding infant development.
The Mustela Foundation supports health professionals working with small children: nursery nurses, midwives, pediatricians, child psychiatrists, psychologists and pharmacists. It also supports the general public, thanks to its commitment to prevention and to several field projects.
The operations of the Mustela Foundation, introduced gradually throughout its history, fulfill five main aims:
Supporting research by awarding grants and a Research-Action prize.
Promoting education and prevention in terms of children’s health, via the publication and free distribution of brochures, leaflets and posters.
Introducing health professionals and specialized journalists to another care system within the framework of an annual study trip to Europe and its neighboring countries.
Since 2006, supporting the implementation of field projects in the field of “well-treatment” of children via a Social Pediatrics Prize, also awarded in Italy.
Supporting an international project designed to strengthen the mother-child bond (partnership with an association working internationally).
